David graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA & PhD in Ancient Greek. He set up his own advertising agency, Cheetham Bell, in Manchester where he met Martin. The agency was later bought by WPP. David was also Creative Director at global digital network, Mirum 2015-17.

Widely regarded as the UK’s pre-eminent authority on the microbiome, Tim is a Professor of Genetic Epidemiology and Director of the TwinsUK Registry at Kings College, London. Tim is a prolific writer with several popular science books and a regular blog, focusing on genetics, epigenetics and most recently microbiome and diet (The Diet Myth and Spoon-Fed).

Doreen graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with an honours degree in Ancient Greek. Shortly afterwards she emigrated to Australia where she later managed the Business Intelligence Systems for the University of Queensland.

Martin graduated from De Montfort University, Lincoln with a degree in Graphic Design & Illustration. He is currently Creative Director of WPP’s Manchester advertising agency, Cheetham Bell. Martin has worked on campaigns for many of the UK’s leading brands such as John West, Magnet Kitchens and On The Beach.

After a short stint in advertising, Keith created one of the nation’s most engaging children’s characters, Bob the Builder. To prove Bob was no one-hit wonder, Keith went on to create one of the biggest global franchises, Paw Patrol, with sales of over $7 billion by 2018.

Zoe is a qualified teacher with a BSc in Biochemistry and MSc in Nutrition (ANutr). She has over 25 years’ experience teaching KS1 to KS4 pupils, coordinating science and writing programs for schools. With Professor Tim Spector’s Twin’s UK team, she worked on the microbiome and its importance for our health and wellbeing.
